The Berkshire Chapter hosted the AMC Fall Gathering on the weekend of Oct. 16-18 at Chimney Corners YMCA Camp in Becket and attendees enjoyed hiking, biking, dancing, socializing, climbing on the high ropes, admiring the camp fire and more.
More than 245 people attended the event, some staying overnight in cabins and tents, others just coming for a day of fun. To see some of the fun things those who attended got to do, see our photo collection.
The Gathering featured the largest high ropes course in the Northeast, waterfront activities such as canoeing and kayaking, an indoor climbing wall, a Friday night jeopardy game, a Saturday night contra-dance, tours of AMC’s own Noble View Camp in Russell, and hikes on the Appalachian Trail, to Ice Glen in Stockbridge, Keystone Arch Bridges Trail in Chester and other locations.
