Volunteers Needed! Wood Day at Noble View

Wood Day at Noble View -- Saturday, December 10, 2016, 9 am to 4 pm.

Come to Noble View and help with splitting and stacking this year's firewood.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PREPARE THE COTTAGES FOR WINTER!
"Burning wood for heat warms you twice. Once in the gathering and once when you burn it."

Delicious hot lunch of chili or stew will be provided along with cocoa and coffee.

Work has started on restoring the Farmhouse. The foundation has been repaired and grading has been done to the slope behind it to facilitate drainage. The roof will be replaced in 2017.

A yurt is coming as living quarters for the caretaker-in-residence, Nate Cherniak. The foundation has been poured.

In 2017, the barn will be dismantled and replaced using as much of the old beams, etc., as possible.

Come visit Noble View to take a hike, see the new work and the work in progress!
Noble View, comprised of 358.5 acres of forest and field, has been an AMC recreational property since 1931.
