The Women of Paddling

The Berkshire chapter is blessed to have many strong female leaders within its volunteer ranks. This year, two of our officers are women (our vice chair and our treasurer), and women lead our Bicycling, Outings, and Paddling committees. In fact, the chapter’s paddling operation has recently been revitalized thanks to the enthusiastic leadership of three amazing women: Mary Therese Durr, Bonna Wieler, and Dee Dice.

Nice BK Committee Desperately Seeking Storage Barn

The BK Paddling Committee is losing our wonderful boat storage in Amherst and we need to move our boats and related gear soon.
Do you have a potential space for us? Do you know anyone who might?

AND → We are also selling about half of our boats, which includes sea kayaks, whitewater kayaks, open boats, etc. Plus, our inventory includes life jackets, paddles, etc. THE PRICE IS RIGHT! (Make us an offer…)

Sea Kayaking

Sea kayaking is technical paddling on ocean estuaries, bays, and coastlines, often for multi-day trips.

Rather than have a fixed schedule of trips, we spontaneously organize them when there's interest. Contact Michael Zabre (413.665.5058, wwo@valinet.com) for monthly possibilities.

Please read the AMC Trip Policy before joining a trip.
