Ed Webster to speak at this year's Berkshire Bash

We're excited to announce that award-winning mountaineer and author Ed Webster will be the speaker at this year's Berkshire Bash - our chapter's annual meeting and dinner. The 2016 Berkshire Bash will take place the evening of Saturday, November 5, at the Summit View in Holyoke. Please save the date, and watch out for further details and ticket information in September.

Spring Classes

May 16-17, Sat-Sun, Introduction to Top Rope Rock Climbing: Basic Instruction in climbing, belaying and general safety. Come and have fun on the rocks! Discounted fee to AMC members.
(Fee- $60 for AMC members, $50 AMC Young people members, $75 Non-AMC members) Prior experience not required. Gear is available. 50% deposit required 1 week in advance. Leader - Bill Kopell 588-8315 or bill.kopell@gmail.com.

Family Outings goes to Central Rock in Hadley

On December 29th Family Outings went on a trip to Central Rock in Hadley. There were 42 people present from ages 4 and up. Three volunteers, Adam, Chris and Ingrid from the AMC assisted with bouldering and belaying, and pizza was provided afterwards. The family in the photos are the Stathatos' Family, Pete, Jen, Nick, Jack and PJ. The first picture is of Family Outings Chair Heather Wyman.
