Family Fall Foliage Hike - Saturday, October 22nd

Calling all families! Fall Foliage is here, let's go take a look!

Join us for a family-friendly, short hike to the Lookout Tower on Mt. Sugarloaf near Sunderland, MA.

The sun will be warm and the trees in foliage color as we hike about 2 miles round-trip, to the Lookout Tower and back. This is an easy, family-friendly hike. This is also the last day that the tower is open for the year. And restrooms... oh, what a relief! After the hike, those who choose can head over to nearby Mike’s Maze for more fun or snacks!

Other information:
If you would like to carpool from the Sheldon Field Park and Ride in Northampton, please ask the leader about this when registering.

Please bring plenty of water and a snack, and suitable hiking wear for your young ones!
(don't forget something warm to put on when we stop!)

• A November day hike and activity will be scheduled soon. Do I smell S'mores?
• We will again be having a January indoor rock climbing event at Central Rock Gym in Hadley! (a family favorite!)
• And last but not least, a family-friendly, winter retreat of snow shoeing, winter hiking and warm, winter fun is scheduled for 3 nights over Winter Break: Feb. 23-26, 2017 at Noble View Outdoor Center! "Snow much fun!" Mark your calendar now, and keep an eye out for registration details - this trip fills up fast.
